South Siam III offers divers the flexibility that other liveaboards can't match. The boat stays in the Similan Islands all season and divers are transfered by speedboat to and from it daily. So you can depart to the Similans any day that you like and stay as few or as many nights as you like. This is the best boat for divers who are short of time and just want to spend one or two nights away. It's a cheap way to get a taste of the Similans. If you don't mind sharing a boat with a lot of other divers (South Siam III can be crowded at peak dates) this could be the boat that you've been looking for.
South Siam III can also be a cheaper option if you have a non diving partner joining you as the discounts for non divers/snorkellers are larger than on other boats.
South Siam III can be a fun boat to stay on with more of a backpacker crowd and young enthusiastic crew.
